Tur Langton Village Hall

Renovation Project

The hall was refurbished in 2019/20 by way of an absolutely tremendous community effort.  A dedicated team of villagers started the refurbishment in 2019 and, undeterred by the COVID-19 lock-downs in 2020, completed the work and opened the hall in March 2021.

The refurbishment included:

  • A new roof

  • New double-glazed windows

  • Substantial insulation to roof, walls and floor

  • Accessible toilets

  • New kitchen and catering facilities

  • Energy-efficient heating and air conditioning

  • LED dimmable lighting and feature lighting

  • Full redecoration, both internally and externally

  • Renovation of the garden area

From the first day of opening, it has been regularly used by villagers and people from the surrounding area, for village events, quizzes and fetes, as well as local clubs, societies and fitness classes.

Please flick through the photos below which record the massive effort that was made during the refurbishment.
